Student Reps

The primary role of a Student Rep is to communicate the views of the students they represent. They are expected to attend 6 planned meetings throughout the year and another review meeting in June to discuss course issues with their tutors and head of department.

Getting involved

During the enrolment period in September, The Students’ Union will help each course promote Course Reps. During Welcome Week, the Students’ Union staff will provide an induction talk to give a brief overview of Student Reps. This promotion includes what the role is and what is entails, the benefits of being a Student Rep and how to get involved.
